DESCRIPTION

I. Economic Development Poles for Well-Being (PODECOBI) are strategic geographical areas designed to articulate public and private efforts in favor of regional growth under a vision of social justice and sustainability. Its main objective is to trigger the creation of decent jobs and raise the quality of life of the population, offering a competitive scheme of tax incentives and administrative facilities to promote the development of productive economic activities based on priority and potential regional vocations:

- Other PODECOBI under evaluation are in the states of Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Mexico City, Colima, Jalisco, Morelos, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas.

II. Circular Economy Development Poles for Well-being (PODECIBI) are strategic geographical areas that contemplate their installation in buildings owned by public entities, in which public or private projects are developed for the sustainable production of goods, waste or pollution elimination, for the reuse, recycling or recovery of materials to keep them in the economy for as long as possible, as well as complementary public research and education projects in the field of circular economy and environmental sustainability:

III. Development Poles for Well-being (PODEBI) are 14 strategic polygons located in the region of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, covering the states of Chiapas, Oaxaca and Veracruz, coordinated by the Secretariat of the Navy and designed to attract industries to trigger economic growth and the integral development of the region through a competitive scheme of federal and state tax incentives. aimed at generating jobs and strengthening social welfare.

Description
The Ministry of Economy develops and implements comprehensive policies for innovation, diversification, and productive and commercial inclusion, as well as incentives for domestic and foreign investment. This promotes the exploitation of mineral resources and boosts the productivity and competitiveness of industrial sectors, enabling their integration into regional and global value chains, with the goal of contributing to generating well-being for the people of Mexico.

REMARKS

Pursuant to Action 12 of Plan Mexico, the objective is to support the competitiveness of the PODECOBI (Industrialized Groups of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises) with tax incentives that encourage new investments:
- Promote investments in machinery and equipment with an immediate 100% deduction on investments in new fixed assets.
- Promote dual training programs through an additional 25% deduction for training programs.
- Promote innovation by supporting research and development initiatives with an additional 25% deduction.

The tax incentives applicable to the PODECIBI can be found in Chapter IV of the Decree granting tax benefits in the Circular Economy Development Poles for Wellbeing.
