DESCRIPTION

PODECOBIs consist of territorially delimited polygons, equipped with specific infrastructure, targeted tax benefits, and administrative facilities that seek to promote economic activity.

The Poles for Wellbeing developed by the Mexican Government also include:
I) Circular Economy Development Poles for Wellbeing (PODECIBI), which are planned for installation in properties owned by public entities, where public or private projects are developed for the sustainable production of goods, waste or pollution elimination, reuse, recycling, or recovery of materials to keep them in the economy for as long as possible, as well as complementary public research and education projects on the circular economy and environmental sustainability; and
II) Projects led by the Ministry of the Navy, which can be found in the project related to "More Information."

Description
Initiative of the Federal Government of Mexico, hosted by the National Bank for Public Works and Services (BANOBRAS for its Spanish acronym); a digital plataform which includes the main infrastructure and energy projects in Mexico.

REMARKS

Pursuant to Action 12 of Plan Mexico, the objective is to support the competitiveness of the PODECOBI (Industrialized Groups of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises) with tax incentives that encourage new investments:
- Promote investments in machinery and equipment with an immediate 100% deduction on investments in new fixed assets.
- Promote dual training programs through an additional 25% deduction for training programs.
- Promote innovation by supporting research and development initiatives with an additional 25% deduction.

The tax incentives applicable to the PODECIBI can be found in Chapter IV of the Decree granting tax benefits in the Circular Economy Development Poles for Wellbeing.
