DESCRIPTION

PODECOBIs are integrated productive ecosystems where the State acts as an investment promoter, a driver of local capabilities, and a facilitator of public and logistical services. They are designed to boost economic activity and foster shared prosperity through their economic and social impacts.

The Innovation and Well-being Park Economic Development Hub (PODECOBI) is located in Hermosillo, within the Northern Economic Corridor, and features the following characteristics:

Area: 546.46 hectares
Located northeast of Hermosillo, with strategic connections to the U.S. border and the Port of Guaymas:
• Linked to the North American trade network.
• Strategically positioned for export manufacturing, cross-border trade, and national distribution.

Key competitive advantages
• A platform geared toward innovation and high-value-added industrial activities.
• A consolidated manufacturing base specializing in export industries.
• Integration with the Sonora Sustainable Energy Plan, which drives capacity building in clean energy, electromobility, semiconductors, and technological innovation.

• Connectivity via road, rail, port, airport, and border crossings.
