DESCRIPTION

The Government of Mexico is carrying out the Infrastructure Projects of the National Water Plan for the 2024-2030 administration. Some of the strategic projects are:

Baja California: Rosarito Desalination Plant
Baja California Sur: El Novillo Dam
Durango: Tunal II Dam
Zacatecas: Milpillas Dam
Metropolitan Area of ​​the Valley of Mexico: Comprehensive ZMVM Plan and Works in 10 municipalities in the eastern part of the State of Mexico
Colima: Water for Colima
Guerrero: Acapulco Transforms with You
Oaxaca: Paso Ancho Dam
Campeche: Chiná Aqueduct and waterway
Tabasco: Flood protection works in Tabasco
Veracruz: Coatzacoalcos Aqueduct
Guanajuato: 13. Solís Dam Aqueduct
Tamaulipas: Ciudad Victoria II Aqueduct
San Luis Potosí: Las Escobas Dam in San Luis Potosí
Coahuila: Healthy Water Trunk Networks for La Laguna
Sonora: Dam System Hermosillo

Master Plan: Infrastructure investment nationwide to improve existing infrastructure and plan for needed infrastructure, based on assessments and master plans for the country's 2,478 municipalities. Funding sources: Fund for Contributions to Social Infrastructure (FAIS); federalized Conagua programs: PROAGUA, PROSANEAR, PRODDER; and state contributions.
