DESCRIPTION
The project consists of the comprehensive rehabilitation of the existing "La Sonoreña" wastewater treatment plant of 150 l/s and the construction of a new 50 l/s treatment module to expand its total capacity to 200 l/s, through process adjustments, renewal of the electromechanical infrastructure, electrical work, integration of automation systems and the supply and installation of the necessary equipment, in the town of San Jose del Cabo, municipality of Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.

REMARKS
The award decision notice published on Apr. 20, 2026 indicates that the bidders do not meet the requirements requested by the convening party for National Public Tender procedure No. LO-16-B00-016B00985-N-32-2026, regarding the works for the: 'Rehabilitation and expansion of the PTAR Sonoreña 1 in the town of San José del Cabo, municipality of Los Cabos, Baja California Sur,' as none of the submitted proposals were found to be solvent in their legal, technical, and economic aspects; for which reason, the National Water Commission (Comisión Nacional del Agua), through the Office of Material Resources, determines to declare the procurement procedure void.

The project is part of the wastewater treatment program for San Jose del Cabo, Los Cabos, B.C.S.
