DESCRIPTION

The project consists of the modernization, operation,maintenance and conservation of 141.72 kilometers under performance standards for the following highways:

1. “Mexico-Pachuca” in the highway section of “Santa Clara – Tizayuca Intersection” beginning from kilometer 12 + 160 to 58+000 with a length of 45.84 km.

2. “Mexico- Tuxpan” in the highway section of the Beltway of “Tulancingo- Nuevo Necaxa Intersection” from kilometer 83+700 to 142+652 with a length of 58.95 km & “Tihuatlan – Tuxpan” from kilometer 224+800 to 261+730 with a length of 36.93 km.

FIRST AMENDMENT AGREEMENT (Feb. 8, 2019).


The Public and Private Partnership Contract is composed by two main sections:

INITIAL INVESTMENT: An estimated of 2,028 million pesos with the aim of achieving high service levels in highways and to migrate to a preventive maintenance scheme based on the latter compliance of development standards.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE: An estimated cost of 6,100 million pesos for operation and maintenance during thirteen years under development standards. The payment is subject to penalties if such standards were not achieved.

Project revenues
The concessionaire will pay a compensation to the developer regarding the maintenance, refurbishment and operation of the highway sections. The payment source will be the toll fees charged by the concessionaire.
