Ministry of Energy (SENER) presents instruments to promote investment in electricity generation
Before representatives of institutions from the energy and financial sectors, as well as business organizations, chambers, and associations, the Minister of Energy, Luz Elena González Escobar, presented three instruments that will facilitate investment in the electricity sector in line with the Plan for the Strengthening and Expansion of the National Electric System 2025–2030.
Luz Elena González explained that the Plan as a whole integrates the actions and projects being carried out by the Government of Mexico to ensure the reliability of the National Electric System and represents a total investment of nearly 740 billion MXN, along with the addition of 32 GW of electricity generation capacity..
