IMSS General Hospital Zone No. 15 inaugurated in Hermosillo, Sonora
The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, inaugurated the General Hospital Zone (HGZ) No. 15 “Dr. Ernesto Ramos Bours” of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Hermosillo, Sonora, which involved an investment of 1.0294 billion MXN for the benefit of 122,578 beneficiaries.
HGZ No. 15 has a workforce of 1,135 healthcare professionals, including 203 physicians, 314 nurses, and 618 personnel in other categories. The hospital also includes 134 beds—90 inpatient beds and 44 non-inpatient beds—along with 10 specialty consultation rooms and 5 operating rooms plus 1 emergency operating room. It provides medical services across 28 specialties.
