The works covered by this project comprise the following:

- Construction of a new roadway section for the Tamazunchale bypass (from km 0+000 to km 9+564) to accommodate two traffic lanes over a length of approximately 9.564 km. This involves widening the existing roadway by constructing two 3.50-meter-wide lanes, along with a 3.00-meter-wide inner shoulder and a 3.00-meter-wide outer shoulder in both directions of travel; a 2% cross-slope (camber) toward the outer shoulders is required. The project includes earthworks, drainage structures, pavement, structural works, ancillary works, and signage.
- Construction of the “Palictla I” (km 2+469.7), “Palictla II” (km 2+611.7), and “Moctezuma” (km 3+200) bridges, as well as two interchanges: “Totectitla” (km 0+000, at-grade) and “Las Lomas” (km 9+400, grade-separated).
These works will be carried out in the municipality of Tamazunchale, in the state of San Luis Potosí.

Bidders must ensure that the national content—comprising materials, machinery, and permanently installed equipment used in the execution of the works—accounts for 30% of the project's value. Additionally, bidders must ensure that local labor accounts for a minimum of 30% of the workforce employed for the works or services to be performed.
