DESCRIPTION
The project consists of extending the Salina Cruz-Zihuatanejo highway to two lanes. It is estimated that this project will generate 84,822 jobs. The highway connects to Trunk Route 15, "Costera del Pacífico." Its route will reach several important towns and locations, including San Pedro Pochutla, Puerto Escondido, Juchitán, Marquelia, Acapulco, and Coyuca de Benítez, among others.

Pending works for the modernization from 7.0 m to 12.0 m of crown width of the IG = (km 209+500 at – km 209+240 ad) to km 219+540, through earthworks, drainage works, paving with hydraulic base, asphalt base, asphalt concrete surface, and signage of the section: Pochutla – Huatulco of the highway: Oaxaca – Puerto Escondido – Huatulco, in the municipality of San Pedro Pochutla, in the State of Oaxaca.
