The project consists of extending the Salina Cruz-Zihuatanejo highway to two lanes. It is estimated that this project will generate 84,822 jobs. The highway connects to Trunk Route 15, "Costera del Pacífico." Its route will reach several important towns and locations, including San Pedro Pochutla, Puerto Escondido, Juchitán, Marquelia, Acapulco, and Coyuca de Benítez, among others.
