The project consists of the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Northwestern and Southwestern bypasses of Hermosillo.

On April 29, 2025, the Honorable City Council of Hermosillo published a public invitation for a competitive process to grant the concession for the Northwestern and Southwestern bypasses of Hermosillo. Interested parties were allowed to submit proposals for one or both bypasses.

Northwestern Bypass / Awardee: Concesionaria Seri, S.A. de C.V.
The Honorable City Council of Hermosillo granted a concession title for the use, operation, and exploitation of public domain assets for the purpose of constructing the Northwestern Bypass of Hermosillo, approximately 30 km in length, and for operating, managing, preserving, and maintaining the operational sections for a period of 30 years. The operational sections extend from the junction of the road to Mina Nyco with Federal Highway Mexico 15 to the Hermosillo-Aeropuerto CFE ZTH substation (Sections A and B). The section from this substation to the junction with Highway 100 Hermosillo–Bahía de Kino will remain under municipal authority (Section C).

Southwestern Bypass
The Southwestern Bypass extends from the intersection of the extension of Boulevard Quiroga with the Palo Verde Road to Federal Highway Mexico 15 (kilometer 245+800), excluding the grade-separated interchange works with the federal route.

The STATUS information corresponds only to the Northwest Bypass.
