Modernization of the Salina Cruz–Zihuatanejo Highway
The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), headed by Jesús Esteva Medina, announced that the modernization works on the Salina Cruz–Zihuatanejo highway will benefit 1,947,399 residents and generate 93,615 jobs.
With an investment of MXN 1.613 billion, 10 kilometers of this Priority Corridor, which connects the states of Oaxaca and Guerrero, will be widened to two lanes in 2026.
