Development Poles for Wellbeing Are Underway
- The incentives for investing in the Development Poles for Wellbeing include a 100% immediate deduction on investment in new fixed assets, a 25% deduction for training programs, and an additional 25% deduction for supporting research and development initiatives.
- The Development Poles for Wellbeing aim to foster territorial development throughout the country, link productive processes, support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and increase national content, according to the Ministry of Economy.
The Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Economy, reported that as part of the Plan México, 11 Economic Development Poles for Wellbeing (PODECOBI) are currently underway, 14 have been approved, and four more are under evaluation, with the goal of promoting Shared Prosperity for all Mexicans.
