DESCRIPTION
The project consists of a Regional Specialty Services Hospital and Support Unit in Ixtapaluca. The installed capacity is 246 registered beds and 202 non-registered, 36 medical offices, 14 operating rooms and a support unit.

Medical services will be provided by Secretaría de Salud staff.

PROJECT’S SUSTAINABILITY SUMMARY

The purpose of the project is the equipment, operation and maintenance of the Ixtapaluca Regional High Specialty Services Hospital and Support Unit, in the State of Mexico, to provide medical care and services to the inhabitants of State of Mexico, Hidalgo and neighboring states, to contribute to the reduction of social inequalities of the disadvantaged population. Likewise, it implements sustainable strategies of energy and water savings.

On October 11, 2023, the DECREE by which the Center and the Regional High Specialty Hospitals indicated with the IMSS-BIENESTAR were disincorporated by merger was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

On October 16, 2023, the AGREEMENT by which the bases for the process of desincorporating by merger the Center and the Regional High Specialty Hospitals indicated with the IMSS-BIENESTAR was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
