DESCRIPTION

Operate and exploit the main railway line corresponding to the Southeast Railroad. Use, utilization, and exploitation of public property. Provision of public rail freight transport services on this main railway line, which includes permits for the provision of auxiliary services.

ORIGINAL CONCESSION (June 29, 1998). The concession of the general communication railway line that corresponds to the Southeast trunk line was granted to Ferrocarril del Sureste, S.A. de C.V., which includes the short route Coatzacoalcos-Merida, as well as its operation and exploitation. The general communication railway line includes the railway, right-of-way, traffic control centers and railway operation signals.

AMENDMENT (Nov. 29, 2012). Excludes the Tres Valles-San Cristóbal branch, GB railway line.
MODIFICATION (Oct. 10, 2023). Excludes the sections of lines "Z", "ZA" and "FA" that run from Coatzacoalcos to Medias Aguas, Hibueras to Minatitlán and from Coatzacoalcos to El Chapo, respectively; the concession is extended for 8 years. Exclusive rights are granted for a period of 58 years
