The project involves the construction of a 349-km railway to provide passenger transportation services, with the following distribution:
-200 km in San Luis Potosí
-20 km in Zacatecas
-129 km in Coahuila.
The construction period is estimated at four years. It is expected to benefit 1.7 million people and generate 279 thousand jobs, 118,400 direct and 236,800 indirect.
