DESCRIPTION
The project consists of the construction of a 341.27 km railway to provide passenger transportation service, with the following characteristics:

- It begins on the current road in Saltillo, continues through Arteaga, Santa Catarina, Monterrey, San Nicolás de los Garza, Salinas Victoria, Villaldama, Lampazos de Naranjo, Anáhuac and Nuevo Laredo.
- Section of double or single track (with extended sides) without electrification.
- Typology of viaducts and embankments to overcome existing infrastructure obstacles, complex orography, crossings with ravines and mountainous areas (resolved with bridges, viaducts and tunnels).
- Design speed 160-200 km/hr.

The number of stops and stations will be defined with a demand study.
