The Mexico–Pachuca Passenger Train project is part of the Government of Mexico’s national priority strategy to reactivate and modernize public passenger rail transport. Its main objective is to improve quality of life, well-being, and mobility for people in the country’s central region. The AIFA–Pachuca section has been designated as one of the initial routes, aiming to optimize connectivity between the Mexico City Metropolitan Area, the State of Mexico, and Hidalgo.

Train Design
- Designed to serve a daily demand of over 100,000 passengers between Mexico City and Pachuca
- End-to-end travel time: 1 hour and 15 minutes
