24.8 billion MXN in road investment in Michoacán
The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT) reported that it will invest 24.8 billion MXN in highway infrastructure as part of the Michoacán Plan.
- Modernization works will be carried out on 256 kilometers over the next four years.
- Works will continue on the Pátzcuaro–Uruapan and Uruapan–Nueva Italia highways, and construction will begin on the Lázaro Cárdenas–Nueva Italia section.
- Additionally, more than 10.4 billion MXN will be allocated to road maintenance works and rural roads in the state.
