The Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Públicos (Banobras) successfully issued four traditional bonds in the local market—BANOB 26, BANOB 26-2, BANOB 26-3, and BANOB 26-4—for a total amount of MXN 17 billion.
The proceeds from these traditional bonds will be allocated to the development of infrastructure in strategic sectors under the administration of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
This placement is the result of ongoing strategic coordination between Banobras and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), led by Minister Edgar Amador Zamora.
A total of 27 institutional investors participated, including broker-dealers, development banks, pension funds (Afores), investment funds, insurance companies, and commercial banks.
The transaction was well received, with total demand reaching 1.36 times the amount placed.

The Federal Electricity Commission (Comisión Federal de Electricidad, CFE) presented its portfolio of transmission and transformation projects for 2026–2027, a strategy aimed at strengthening the National Transmission Grid (Red Nacional de Transmisión, RNT) through greater private sector participation.
CFE’s electricity expansion plan includes 138 transmission lines and 249 substations, with mixed financing through Fibra E instruments and public works, in line with the national energy strategy.
The Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), reported progress in the modernization of the Salina Cruz–Zihuatanejo highway, which connects Oaxaca and Guerrero, benefiting 1.9 million inhabitants. In 2025, 27 km were widened and eight bridges were built; this year, work will continue on an additional 37 km.
This project is one of the current administration’s Priority Corridors, with an investment of more than MXN 24 billion.

The project contemplates hydrocarbon extraction, as well as the development of value chains, supply chains, and productive linkages.
