9,139 new hospital beds will be built by September 2030
President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo highlighted that, through the National Hospital Infrastructure Plan, 9,139 new hospital beds will be built by September 2030 with an investment of 181 billion MXN, which, together with the 7,404 beds created during the administration of former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, will result in a total of 16,543 new hospital beds created under the Fourth Transformation to serve the population.
