Inauguration of the “Felipe Ángeles” Train, Buenavista–AIFA
The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, inaugurated the Felipe Ángeles Train, Buenavista–AIFA, which, over a distance of 41 kilometers (km), will connect northern Mexico City with the Felipe Ángeles International Airport in the State of Mexico in less than 60 minutes at the start of operations, and subsequently in 43 minutes, with an estimated demand of 57,000 daily passengers. This project forms part of the strategy to restore passenger rail services and thereby guarantee the right to mobility for the population.
