50 billion MXN for the Toll-Free Federal Highway Network

The Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), presented the National Highway Maintenance and Pothole Repair Program 2026, which provides for an investment of 50 billion MXN to carry out works on 18,000 kilometers of the Toll-Free Federal Highway Network.

During the People’s Conference, led by the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the head of the SICT, Jesús Esteva Medina, reported that this initiative will generate 100,000 jobs and will address one of the main public demands.
