DESCRIPTION

The project consists of the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a gas pipeline with a capacity of 100 million cubic feet per day (MCFD). The approximate length of the gas pipeline is 48 km and 16 inches diameter.

The Ramal Hermosillo gas pipeline transports natural gas from the Sásabe-Guaymas gas pipeline to the Hermosillo combined cycle power plant in the state of Sonora.

- Fixed Capacity Fee: Reserved capacity available for CFE.
- Variable Use Fee: Variable costs to cover the operation and maintenance of the system (taxes, insurance, consumables, etc.)

PROJECT’S SUSTAINABILITY SUMMARY

The project is intended to supply natural gas to electric power generation plants in the northwestern region of Mexico to satisfy the demand for electricity. The branch will supply the Hermosillo Combined Cycle Power Plant and the Naco-Hermosillo gas pipeline. Includes a reforestation and compensation program for the protection of the biodiversity of the area, as well as the use of solar panels.
