Tender CRT-RRI-01 aims to make various radio spectrum segments in the 2.3 GHz band (2300–2400 MHz) available to the market for the provision of capacity for Intelligent Radiocommunication Networks.

Its objective is to award commercial use licenses to develop a capacity-provision market, enabling companies to access industrial networks—also known as private or intelligent networks—geared toward process automation and optimization, remote control, robotics, video analytics, massive IoT, and mission-critical communications, among other applications.

A total of 40 MHz is available, distributed in 10 MHz blocks, across each of the 60 Industrial Regions into which the country has been divided based on spatial patterns of industrial development. Any remaining spectrum may be assigned based on geographic areas (polygons) of up to 200 km² defined by interested parties.
