The project consists of the engineering, procurement, construction, pre-startup testing, and commissioning of a gas pipeline (includes gas pipeline branches to meet demand). The project will be developed with the following general scope:

Stage 1.
-Construction of a 20-inch nominal diameter natural gas pipeline to supply natural gas to users of the "Anillo de Pajaritos" zone and the Coatzacoalcos II Development Pole for Well-being (PODEBI), interconnected to the 48-inch Cactus-San Fernando pipeline, originating and interconnecting at the Las Choapas-Chinameca 48-inch pipeline section towards the ERM Caseta Nueva Pajaritos, with an approximate length of 5.528 km.
-Construction of a pig launcher installation at the origin, at the interconnection with the 48-inch pipeline.
-Construction of a pig launcher and receivier trap at the ERM Caseta Nueva Pajaritos, including surface installation and vents.
-Construction of a regulating and measuring station with ultrasonic equipment, instruments, working monitor pressure control systems, and filtration materials and accessories.

Stage 2.
- Construction of a 20-inch nominal diameter natural gas pipeline from the ERM Caseta Nueva Pajaritos station to the PODEBI Coatzacoalcos II facility, with an approximate length of 4.161 km.
- Construction of a pig receivier trap located at the PODEBI facility, including a vent.
- In accordance with the engineering design, remotely operated sectionalizing valves with actuators for remote opening and closing may be considered, as well as all the components required for their proper operation and communication with the CENAGAS SCADA system.

Some of the specific scopes, listed in the tender as examples but not exhaustive, include: route, location, and identification of pipelines located within PEMEX's right-of-way; topographic survey of the land; soil mechanics study; engineering; environmental impact assessment; and others.
