On June 14, 2026, the official notice cancelling the procurement process was published, stating: "due to a change in the strategy to be adopted for addressing requirements of this nature—a shift that will also allow for the strengthening of various technical aspects of the Bidding Documents, the procurement process is cancelled."

The project consists of the construction of onshore pipelines for the gathering and transportation of hydrocarbons (including oil pipelines, oil and gas pipelines, natural gas pipelines, discharge lines, metering lines, injection lines, gas-lift lines, wastewater pipelines, manifolds, well tie-ins, among others), in accordance with operational flexibility requirements, at extraction assets belonging to:
A) South Onshore Extraction Region Deputy Directorate: Macuspana-Muspac, Samaria-Luna, Bellota-Jujo, and Cinco Presidentes; and
B) North Onshore Extraction Region Deputy Directorate: Reynosa, Poza Rica-Altamira, and Veracruz.

The scope includes, among other activities:
• Construction of main pipeline sections, including excavation, backfilling, pipe supply, and related works.
• Construction of pear-shaped pipeline sections.
• Construction of surface facilities.
• Supply and installation of fittings, connections, valves, instrumentation, and non-metallic piping.
• Construction of access roads, signage, civil works, and related infrastructure.
