The project consists of the construction, installation, and replacement of primary equipment at the 230 kV voltage level and the recalibration of the auxiliary bus; as well as the construction of a 230 kV transmission line with a total length of 23.4 km (line) and 23.4 km (circuit).

The main characteristics of each of the projects are summarized below:
1. Upgrading of the Remedios – 93G00 – El Vidrio Transmission Line
This line will be built overhead, starting at the Remedios 230 kV substation and ending at the El Vidrio substation. It will operate at a nominal voltage of 115 kV and a frequency of 60 Hz. A total of 4.90 km of line will be constructed, with the installation of 6.90 km of circuit.

2. El Vidrio Electrical Substation
Replacement of the 230 kV primary equipment, consisting of six single-phase pad-mounted current transformers, as well as the recalibration of the auxiliary busbar with high-temperature, low-sag ACSS/AW type cable. The work will be carried out at the El Vidrio Substation, an installation currently in operation with a busbar arrangement of one and a half breaker-type I-type transformers at the 230 kV level.

CFE will provide an advance payment of 30% of the total contract amount.

National content requirements for bidders in the execution of the work:
- At least 88.37% of the project cost for materials and permanently installed equipment.
- At least 90% of labor.
