DESCRIPTION
The project involves the construction, installation, and commissioning of a plant for the selection and utilization of urban solid waste with a nominal capacity of 500 to 650 tons per day. The plant receives waste directly from collection trucks and/or transfer units, extracts recyclables, produces fuel for cement plants, and gives biological treatment to the organic waste for the production of biostabilizer, with properties very similar to compost, which is used as a soil improver.

REMARKS
The notice of award published on Apr. 17, 2026, indicates that the bidders did not meet the requirements established by the contracting authority for National Public Tender No. LO-16-B00-016B00985-N-31-2026, for the execution of the works related to the “Construction of the ‘Miramar’ Municipal Solid Waste Management Plant for the comprehensive rehabilitation of water bodies in the municipality of Acapulco, in the state of Guerrero”, as none of the submitted proposals were determined to be responsive in their legal, technical, and financial aspects, the National Water Commission (Comisión Nacional del Agua, Conagua), through its Materials Resources Management Unit, determined to declare the tender void.
