The project consists of the addition of capacitor banks in eight transmission and distribution substations currently in operation, with a total installed capacity of 122.7 MVAr, in the states of Sinaloa, Sonora, Baja California, and Baja California Sur:

1. S.E. GUAMUCHIL DOS: Consists of the addition of a 22.5 MVAr capacitor bank connected to Bus 1 or Bus 2. The busbar arrangement at the 115 kV level is Bus 1 + Bus 2 + Transfer Bus with tie and transfer breaker.
2. S.E. PARQUE INDUSTRIAL SAN LUIS: Addition of a 21.0 MVAr capacitor bank connected to the 161 kV Main Bus. The busbar arrangement at the 161 kV level is Main Bus + Auxiliary Bus with tie or transfer breaker.
3. S.E. PACKARD: Addition of a 21.0 MVAr capacitor bank connected to the 161 kV Main Bus. The busbar arrangement at the 161 kV level is Main Bus and Transfer Bus with transfer breaker.
4.S.E. SAN SIMON: Addition of a 7.5 MVAr capacitor bank connected to the 115 kV Main Bus. The busbar arrangement at the 115 kV level is Main Bus and Transfer Bus with transfer breaker.
5. S.E. RÍO: Addition of a 14.85 MVAr capacitor bank connected to the 69 kV Main Bus. The busbar arrangement at the 69 kV level is Main Bus and Transfer Bus with transfer breaker.
6. S.E. MÉXICO: Addition of a 14.85 MVAr capacitor bank connected to the 69 kV Main Bus. The busbar arrangement at the 69 kV level is Main Bus and Transfer Bus with transfer breaker.
7. S.E. SANTIAGO: Addition of a 7.5 MVAr capacitor bank connected to the 115 kV Main Bus. The busbar arrangement at the 115 kV level is Main Bus and Transfer Bus with transfer breaker.
8. S.E. BLEDALES: Addition of a 13.5 MVAr capacitor bank connected to the 115 kV Main Bus. The busbar arrangement at the 115 kV level is Main Bus and Transfer Bus with transfer breaker.
