DESCRIPTION

Turnkey, lump-sum construction contract for the execution of the project, which consists of three substation works:
- Oasis Distribution Substation. This substation is currently in operation. The expansion work consists of a static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) rated at 40 MVAr capacitive and 40 MVAr inductive, to be installed at the 115-kV voltage level. The bus arrangement at the 115-kV level is a single bus.
- Mesteñas Transmission Substation. This substation is currently in operation. The expansion work consists of adding a 30-MVAr capacitor bank connected to the 115-kV main bus. The bus arrangement at the 115-kV level is main bus plus auxiliary bus with a tie or transfer circuit breaker.
- El Trébol Distribution Substation. This substation is currently in operation. The expansion work consists of adding a 15-MVAr capacitor bank connected to the 115-kV main bus. The bus arrangement at the 115-kV level is a single bus.

The scope of the project includes the following components: supply of equipment and materials for permanent installation; development of engineering associated with electromechanical and civil design; execution of electromechanical and civil works; performance of pre-operational tests; preparation, analysis, and evaluation of the required studies (geotechnical studies, topographic surveys, and resistivity studies); and the delivery of training and capacity-building programs.

National content of the project:
- At least 90% of the labor must be of national origin.
- Up to 47.10% of the materials and equipment for permanent installation used in the execution of the works.

CFE will grant an advance payment equal to 30% of the total contract amount.
