DESCRIPTION

The project derives from the concession to manage, operate, exploit, and, where appropriate, build the airport. The concessionaire, exercising the rights granted by the concession, will prepare a Master Development Plan based on the policies and programs established for the development of the National Airport System and its interrelation with other modes of transportation.

The 2024-2038 Master Development Program, authorized by the Federal Civil Aviation Agency, includes a total of 51 specific actions in its first five-year period, 2024-2028, including projects, works, services, and equipment. The following stand out:

- Rehabilitation of the pavement on runway 09-27
- Construction of a new passenger terminal with a surface area of ​​15,000 m²
- Expansion of the commercial aviation apron to four positions
- Construction of a new general aviation apron
- Urbanization of airport access and parking
- Construction of the Runway End Security Area

The investment corresponds to the amount planned for the 2024-2028 period.
