DESCRIPTION

The project derives from the concession to manage, operate, exploit, and, where appropriate, build the airport. The concessionaire, exercising the rights granted by the concession, will prepare a Master Development Plan based on the policies and programs established for the development of the National Airport System and its interrelation with other modes of transportation.

The 2023-2037 Master Development Program, authorized by the Federal Civil Aviation Agency, includes a total of 46 specific actions in its first five-year period, 2023-2027, including projects, works, services, and equipment. The following stand out:

- Rehabilitation and expansion of runway 02-20 by 800 meters
- Construction of a new passenger terminal with an area of ​​18,000 m²
- Expansion of the commercial aviation apron with four additional positions
- Construction of a new control tower
- Urbanization of the airport access

The estimated investment corresponds to the amount planned for the 2023-2027 period.
