DESCRIPTION
Those projects in the preinvestment stage published in Mexico Projects Hub are subject to change or confirmation by their sponsors.

The project consists of a new Level 2 hospital in the eastern part of Mexico City and the State of Mexico (Texcoco).

The project will include the necessary infrastructure to attend the four basic specialties: internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology, with 250 registered beds, 29 medical offices (with 34 specialties), emergency services with 5 medical offices, and 34 observation beds, as well as an intensive care unit for adults (14 beds) and babies (8 beds).

The following specialties and services will be offered:

a) Auxiliary diagnostic services: imaging, laboratory services, pathological anatomy, blood bank, endoscopy and cardiology clinics, obstetrics and gynecology, otolaryngology, neurology and neurosurgery.

b) Auxiliary treatment services: in addition to emergency rooms, there will be a surgical unit consisting of 7 general surgery operating rooms and one for labor and delivery, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, chemotherapy and cabinets of urology, pulmonology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Medical services will be provided by ISSSTE staff.
