Design, construction, equipment, operation and maintenance of a railway that connects the towns of Cancún and Tulum, through the tourist corridor. The route consists of a 126 km tourist corridor, with stations in the main population centers including the Cancun International Airport. The construction is considered in two stages, the first Cancun to Playa del Carmen and the second from Playa del Carmen to Tulum.
 
The train contributes to the regional development of the Northern Zone, considerably improves urban and tourist mobility, integrates labor markets and generates an alternative for the distribution of inputs for the economic activity of the Riviera Maya.

This project is promoted by the Government of the State of Quintana Roo and is in the stage of studies where the participation of the public and private sector will be determined.

Currently, permits are being processed with the corresponding federal agencies and there is no allocation of federal resources.
