DESCRIPTION

On December 1st, 2018, Mexico had a federal government administration change. As a consequence, all those projects that are in the pre-investment stage are subject to the confirmation of the new authorities.

Design, construction, operation and maintenance of the cargo terminal. The project includes the construction and equipment of the loading area with platforms, road areas, accesses, offices and commercial areas. Additionally, it includes the fiscal premises, construction of the warehouses, as well as the internal areas in which each of them is divided.

The Customs control elements on the land side are sized to meet the full development of the cargo area of ​​the Western operations area in 2035, which include:
• Lanes for inspection of cargo trucks for customs control of export and import.
• Truck and cargo inspection areas.
• Truck parking areas for short periods.
• Parking for Customs personnel.

The following buildings and facilities are required to support loading operations:

Customs / Authorities Buildings.
• These two-story buildings will incorporate the offices of Customs, Health Protection Agency, Physical Security and other governmental / airport dependencies that require having a presence in the International cargo areas.
• Customs facilities include personnel and visitor entry and exit areas, barriers with turnstiles, X-ray equipment to check the contents of personnel bags and visitors, as well as Customs offices and other control authorities in the Upper level.
• The Health Protection Agency (APS) is responsible for applying the regulations related to public health safety and health and safety.

Service and Recreation Buildings.
• These 2-level buildings will have medical services, banking services (required by customs agents, as well as staff), public restrooms, cafeterias / restaurants and general stores at the lower level, and will provide rental space for airlines, cargo transporters, customs agents, among others, at the top level.
• Separate buildings are required on the International and National land sides of the loading areas. Access to the International building is only from the controlled Customs area.

This project is part of the Mexico New International Airport (NAIM).
