DESCRIPTION
Those projects in the preinvestment stage published in Mexico Projects Hub are subject to change or confirmation by their sponsors.

The project consists of a new Level 2 hospital that will replace the actual General Hospital "Dr. Francisco Galindo Chávez".

The project will include the necessary infrastructure to attend the four basic specialties: internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology, with 120 registered beds, 24 medical offices (with 28 specialties), emergency room with 3 offices and 23 observation beds, as well as an intensive care unit for adults (9 beds) and babies (5 beds).

The following specialties and services will be offered:

a) Auxiliary diagnostic services: imaging, laboratory services, pathological anatomy, blood bank, endoscopy, allergy and dermatology clinics, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, otorhinolaryngology, neurology, neurosurgery and ophthalmology.

b) Auxiliary treatment services: in the emergency room there will be a surgical unit consisting of 4 general surgery operating rooms, one for ambulatory surgery and another one for labor and delivery, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, chemotherapy and urology, pneumology and pain clinic.

Medical services will be provided by ISSSTE staff.
